Owner/Principal Civil Engineer
Rebekah knows stormwater, surface water modeling, and permitting for all types of projects from small to large transit jobs. She has been the civil engineer on many award-winning jobs saving wetlands and fish as well as solving advanced flooding problems. Her background in advanced mathematics and porous mediums allows her to evaluate and design custom media mixes from industrial sites to chitosan filters for large transit erosion control projects. She leads the team at Red Barn, getting your project moving.
Dan is an expert at design, review, permitting, and construction support for a wide variety of projects, from single family homes to regional commercial centers and major transportation infrastructure. He has experience as a private engineer, a permitting development engineer and capital projects engineer, for several different cities. His history of working with a variety of stormwater codes allows him to quickly and accurately convey the requirements that will impact your project.
Darin has a proven track record for getting results on heavy civil construction. He has overseen the construction of 7 of Seattle's large bridge projects and has led teams to clean audits on projects. From traffic control to advanced structural engineering, Darin has the expertise and commitment to work with clients and provide a successful project.
Kristin has extensive WSDOT experience for fish passable culverts and for in-water monitoring. She is certified in fish exclusion and understands the critical functions of habitat in and around large transit projects. She leads Red Barn's team with EIS, BAs, EA, Section 104, and many other permits.
Brian is the senior engineer for municipal/district work related to utility infrastructure and repair. As a former water district engineer, he has extensive knowledge of trenchless water main design and diﬀerent materials of pipe, including ERDIP, steel, and PE. His experience with right-of-way work provides Red Barn with expertise in both private and public jobs.

Construction Management Division Lead
George is a construction engineer that has a proven track record of jobs well run that are complex and are transit-related. He has worked eﬀectively on projects as a construction engineer and as a resident engineer. He has the background of working with both internal and external stakeholders on key issues that arise during construction and involve critical areas and permitting throughout Western Washington.
Environmental Construction Manager
Paul has over 25 years of experience and understands and has overseen construction activities related to work in and around critical areas. He has successfully managed projects through the intricate permitting process, checking in with clients each step of the way. He is an effective communicator and has excellent interpersonal skills to work with a diverse multi-discipline team and agency personnel. Paul has excellent technical skills analyzing project details, impacts, and mitigation of projects and applies these skills and experience while managing contractors.
Eric is a quick learning, land development engineer who has a spirit of customer service combined with sophisticated communication skills and a positive attitude. He understands code compliance, researches the standards and sets up the permitting timeline for projects. He has a professional background which includes exposure to researching code requirements, communicating with permitting authorities, and managing the submittal process.
Environmental Compliance & Permitting Specialist
Denise manages & coordinates multi-disciplinary teams & oversees deliverables for master plans, mixed-use development, transportation (including WSDOT SR 520), & utility infrastructure projects. She understands the local, state, & federal regulatory environments, the permitting process, & application requirements. She is skilled in writing & reviewing environmental documentation & technical reports, & can translate complex topics into technically accurate, reader-friendly information.
Seth is experienced in site development and understands Washington stormwater regulations related to parking lot designs. He has been working with the City of Kenmore doing construction inspections and understands both the design issues as well as the implementation. He has excellent communication skills with the public. He is the senior engineer on 4 large projects (each valued over $40M) and understands civil permitting.
Environmental Construction Manager
Rob has over 25 years of experience providing fisheries biology services and expertise. He has provided these services as an employee of the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), United States Forest Service (USFS), Muckleshoot Indian Tribe, King County, Clearway Environmental, and now Red Barn Engineering.
Construction QV Manager
Benny has a strong history of roadway and structural construction management inspection. He has experience in identifying and proactively resolving complex construction field issues. Benito has 15+ years as a lead inspector. His bridgework experience has been extensive and very detailed oriented, in view of new technology and the implementing of new specifications.
Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining Red Barn, Corey helped build some of the "Fastest Growing Companies" in the US. He is co-author of Best Practices of High-Performance Entrepreneurs (2006-2019) and has accelerated $2 billion new equity growth over 15 years. His goal for Red Barn Engineering is that it becomes one of the Best Companies to Work For within the U.S. and beyond.
Mark is process-driven with expertise in structural inspection and has been working on the ST N180 portion of the Northlink project. He has a thorough understanding of elevated and tunnel rail systems, speciﬁcations, and desires to provide a solid structural inspection. He has a thorough understanding of structures and civil infrastructure. He has received training and is accomplished in over 100 diﬀerent construction management certiﬁcates and computer programs.
Elana has ten years of progressive accounting experience in public companies, non-profits, and state institutions. She is an accomplished project champion who excels at leveraging extensive business knowledge with the ability to rework old systems using new technology. She comes to us with training in modern operational methods in order to effectively communicate complex concepts to stakeholders while being an advocate for the product & team.
Paul brings a variety of experience from 25 years in the non-profit world, including marketing, team building and leadership. His creativity and eye for detail are realized in the projects he works on and/or designs. He is an effective communicator through both written word and public speaking.
